about a specific disease or medical problem? I have, and I guess you have too.
What do we look for? Again statistics show

Getting at least 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity can help you to regain good health, reducing your risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and manty other illnesses. Crank up the stereo or your Amazon Echo and dance in your living room. Sign up for aerobic classes or join the gym. Walk to the park with your kids or wake up an hour early thrown on your track suit and go for a power walk. Play a sport, ride a bike, go swimming. “Even when all is known, the care of a man is not yet complete, because eating alone will not keep a man well; he must also take exercise. For food and exercise, while possessing opposite qualities, yet work together to produce health.”

You need to be eating a diet rich in
vegetables and fruit (at least five servings a day). A healthy approach to
eating is essential for good health. Food is the fuel for your body, hence
essential for your health. There is so much diverse opinions about what to eat
and how to eat, many of you are most likely totally confused about what makes
up a healthy diet.
So, let me make this really simple, and
provide you with the definitive basics of what your diet should constitute.
Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.Eat … six or more servings of grains or legumes, daily. Whole grains are especially nutritious. These foods will help you obtain the 20 to 30 grams of dietary fiber you need each day and will provide most of the important vitamins and minerals.Eat red meat sparingly and supplement your diet with fowl (chickens, geese, pigeons, partridges, duck and quail ) and fish which is an excellent source of protein … relatively low in calories, fat and cholesterol , contains certain vitamins you need and omega-3s polyunsaturated fatty acids which is essential for good health.
So, think of a plate divide it into 4, and
fill it with protein, grain or legume, and 2 lots of vegetables as an example
of a healthy meal. Keep salt, sugar and fat very low. That is it in a very
basic but easily to implement way.
“Everything in food works together to create health or disease. The more we think that a single chemical characterizes a whole food, the more we stray into idiocy.”
Dr. T. Colin Campbell
Hey, I’m not about to get on my soap box and preach to you about the ills of drinking alcohol. In fact believe it or not, alcohol does bring benefits, including a reduction in cardiovascular disease. But these benefits apply only if it’s consumed in moderation. Heavy drinking is unbelievably harmful. It can lead to cirrhosis of the liver, damage to the heart muscle, and an increased risk of several cancers. Anyone looking to regain good health has to limit the amount of alcohol they drink. Aim for no more than 1 or 2 units on a weekday at the very most. On the weekend if you really must consume no more than 4 units.
“Wine is the most healthful and most hygienic of beverages.”
Louis Pasteur
Now I am getting on my soapbox. There are no benefits to Smoking. It can only do you harm. In fact you already know it can kill you, simple as that. We all know smoking is bad for our health, but plenty of people still do it. Quitting today could be the number one way for you to regain good health. Slowly but surely your body will begin to heal. The longer you stay as a non-smoker the longer you are likely to live. So, do yourself the biggest favour possible, either never ever pick up a cigarette or quit if you are a smoker right now. And believe me I know how hard that can be. Yet be assured no ex-smoker will ever tell you it wasn’t the best thing they ever did when they managed to quit.
“Every time you light up a cigarette, you are saying that your life isn’t worth living.”

According to the National Sleep Foundation, adults should get between seven and nine hours of sleep a night. Routinely failing to get that amount could lead to long-term health consequences, including increased obesity and high blood pressure and decreased well-being. Sleep is a health-restorative time for the body. When you sleep, your body releases immune proteins called cytokines, which help fight infections and control the body’s response to stress. If you struggle with sleeping I wrote this article previously with tips on how to get better sleep.
“Sleep is an investment in the energy you need to be effective tomorrow.”

Recommendations for daily water intake differ, depending on a person’s age, sex, pregnancy status, and illness. It is often said that most people should drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water daily which is about 2 litres. My belief is that this is essential to regain good health. I always carry a bottle of water with me. Sipping from it frequently. Every time I feel hungry or fancy a coffee, I drink water and often this satisfies. However you do it just make sure you drink lots of water.
“Water is life, and clean water means health.”

Regular washing of the body, face and hands, clothes, and bedding should help treat and prevent most infections related to poor hygiene. Keeping your environment clean also is vital. And practicing oral hygiene brushing at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and flossing regularly. Remember the expression cleanliness is next to godliness. Or like my mum said, wash your hands after going to the toilet. Come on people just do the basics well and this will go a long way towards good health.
